Casey Brown is a Trial attorney at Kurasch & Klein. She graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law after earning her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyer’s Association, Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, American Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association.
Casey concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, slip and falls, workers’ compensation, and medical negligence. Casey is a strong advocate on behalf of people who have been injured due to the negligence of others. She is experienced in a wide variety of personal injury and wrongful death matters, including motor vehicle and bicycle accidents, slip & falls, premises liability, and work related injuries.
During law school, Casey sharpened her legal skills by working as a law clerk for several well known Chicago area litigation law firms. Casey appreciates the importance of establishing positive attorney-client relationships and the value of understanding how her clients’ lives have been impacted by an injury or loss. “As a plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer I have the opportunity to use my passion and compassion to fight for injured people and to make a difference in my clients’ lives.”
While still in law school, Casey knew she wanted to fight for her clients’ rights when she competed in the American Association for Justice National Civil Trial Competition as a member of the Chicago-Kent Trial Advocacy Team. She was also elected and served as the President of the Student Bar Association, was named to the Dean’s list, and was inducted into the Bar & Gavel Society for her outstanding service to the law school, the community, and the legal profession.
